The Queensland Maritime Museum operates to preserve in perpetuity the significant aspects of the rich maritime heritage of Queensland as a resource for the education and enjoyment of visitors. We respect and express the cultural diversity of this great Nation and we honour the enormous contribution made to the Australian maritime community by the men and women of present and past generations.
