Five educational learning modules (2 middle primary, 1 upper primary and 2 lower secondary) have been developed to give students some insight into Queensland's rich maritime history.

Each module provides a complete program of activities that focus on one aspect of the exhibits featured at the Queensland Maritime Museum. They include activities that can be undertaken before a visit to the museum; interactive activities conducted at the museum; and post–visit activities to help students synthesise their understandings.
